SANDHI Research Lab is an independent research organization advancing artificial intelligence and computational methods through interdisciplinary research.
The name
Sandhi (सन्धि) is a Sanskrit word meaning joining, connection, union, or junction. It names our core belief: meaningful discoveries often emerge where different ideas, disciplines, and perspectives meet.

Mission
To investigate meaningful questions in artificial intelligence and computational science, develop new methods, and contribute rigorous, reproducible knowledge to the research community.
Vision
A research community where fields do not work in isolation, and where the connections between vision, language, learning, and science lead to understanding that none of them could reach alone.

We do not want to be defined by a particular model, architecture, or technology. We want to be defined by the questions we pursue and the knowledge we contribute.
